Transportation Services at Beclabito Day School

At Beclabito Day School, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students during their daily commute to and from school. We kindly ask all students and parents to familiarize themselves with the following guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly transportation environment for everyone.

Bus Change Requests

We understand that occasionally, students may need to ride a different bus than the one assigned. In such cases, a temporary bus pass is required. Parents or guardians must provide written notice or call the school by 11:00 a.m. on the same day to obtain a temporary bus pass for their child.

Transportation Cancellation Due to Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather leading to a delay or cancellation of school activities, we utilize various communication channels to notify parents and students promptly. These include Remind and Everbridge messages as well as updates on local broadcast TV stations (KOB-TV, KOAT-TV), local radio stations and the Beclabito Day School Facebook page.

Bus Rules and Conduct

We uphold strict guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of all bus passengers. Students are expected to observe the following rules diligently:

  • Be punctual and respectful towards others and the bus driver.
  • Remain seated and keep aisles and exits clear at all times.
  • Maintain courteous behavior, refraining from foul language or disruptive actions.
  • Refrain from bringing food or beverages onto the bus.

The safety and well-being of our students are paramount. By adhering to these transportation guidelines and rules, we can ensure a secure and comfortable commuting experience for all. We appreciate your cooperation and support in promoting safe transportation practices within our school community.
