Dear Students, Families, and Friends,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am so excited to see our school come alive again with the energy, curiosity, and bright smiles of our students. Each new year is a fresh opportunity to learn, grow, and celebrate the unique strengths of every child.
Our theme this year is “Growing Together, Reaching Higher.” Alongside our strong academic foundation, we are proud to offer a wide range of programs that nurture the whole child and prepare them for the future:
- Diné Language and Culture – Honoring and preserving our heritage while deepening cultural understanding.
- STEM – Inspiring innovation through hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math experiences.
- Art – Encouraging creativity and self-expression through visual and performing arts.
- Foster Grandparent Program – Building intergenerational connections that bring wisdom, mentorship, and care into our classrooms.
- Physical Education (PE) – Provided by DODE–Shiprock, promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and lifelong fitness habits.
- College and Career Readiness – Helping students dream big, set goals, and explore pathways for their future success.
- Computer Lab – Strengthening digital literacy and technology skills for the modern world.
- PBIS Safe & Secure School – Creating a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment where every student can thrive.
